Hi! I’m Amy & I’m the owner of Clover & Kitten! I just recently moved to Hilton Head Island, SC with my husband & sweet kitty, Socks.

I started Clover & Kitten during my last semester of college in August 2011. I graduated with an Associates degree in Marketing and the knowledge I gained from my courses have been very helpful along my small business journey. I worked for my family’s former business until July 2013 and after I left the company, I really put my time and energy into my small business.

Over the years I have changed business names and products I’ve sold. I started out with hair accessories and eventually jumped into wholesaling supplies for other small business owners. While I loved wholesaling, I wanted to do more with my own business.

After moving to a new house in October 2016, I decided to switch to selling custom made tutus, personalized t-shirts, bodysuits and bibs. I love being able to put special touches on everything, especially first birthday outfits. A year later I introduced our personalized elephants!

Mid-October 2021 I decided to take some time off. A year prior we had lost our one kitty, Rascal, to large granular lymphoma. It’s a rare and aggressive form of large cell lymphoma. Losing him completely broke my heart. Six months later our oldest kitty, Lucky, developed a lump on her neck and she had surgery to remove it in November 2021. I planned to reopen in January 2022 but our youngest kitty, Socks, started to get sick. He was diagnosed with small cell gastrointestinal lymphoma in March 2022 after a major surgical biopsy. He started taking a medication for chemo and because I didn’t know what to expect, I decided to continue taking time off. Once I felt ready, I reopened my shop in April 2023!
